On the second page enter the best contact number for the landlord, should the tenant have any questions about this increase.

Next enter the date this notice is being sent. Enter it as day, month, and year. This is important as a notice period is required for a rent increase. Typically, that will be thirty (30) days, but it is best to check your local laws.

The landlord should then sign, print their date and enter their address.

We have also attached a proof of service page to keep with your records as to the date and how this notice was given to the tenant. This is important to keep, should a conflict ever arise and may be used as proof in court.

It is important to note, that Landlord-tenant laws change rapidly and are regulated at the federal, state and local levels. If you are unsure about anything it is best to consult with a local attorney.
